"Absolutely appalling"

A review of White Bear by Amanda Beasley written on Tuesday 23rd of November 2010

We went for a family meal on Saturday 20 November 2010 (to remember my Grandad who sadly passed away 3 years ago) and they had hardly any drinks – I thought this was supposed to be a pub.

We waited over 35 minutes for 3 combo starters and 1 bowl of soup - all the combo starters were completely different and 2 of the items listed were missing (nobody knew what was going on), garlic bread was frozen. 10 minutes after the combos arrived we received a cold bowl of soup (which wasn’t the soup we had ordered). We asked to see the manager/manageress 20 minutes later she walked over and very rudely said "whats your problem" - I actually wanted to say "well actually you are now" we asked for a refund and left, we will never visit this so called pub again.
