A review of PDSA by Susan Lawn written on Monday 17th of December 2007
Hi,
My name is kitty, and I am a black & white short haired cat from Bradford. in October I was knocked down by a nasty car driver, who left me for dead. Fortunately a kind neighbour found me, and contacted mum, who then brought me to the PDSA at Lorne street. I had a fractured hip, and was very poorly. The wonderful folks at Lorne street kept me in at their kennels, and monitored me closely for a whole week, and though I missed mum and my other moggy friends back home, I was well taken care of and I needed the ministrations of the vet, X-rays and painkillers etc. If it had not been for them, I fear I may have died. My mum gave what she could in cash at the time but was mindful of the fact it was a fraction of what a vet would have charged, so she is having a huge clear out at home, and donating lots of stuff to the PDSA charity shop. She also told me that if she ever has a windfall, she will be giving a generous wedge of it to my saviours at Lorne street.
Thank-you
Kitty and Suzie xx.
