"Barnsley Man eats good in Bradford"

My first experience of Indian Curry was here at the Silver Jubilee back in the 80's. I think it's now called 'the Silver Grill' and has possibly moved a few shops up the road. The food was so good that I used to travel from home in Barnsley ( we had no curry houses here back then ) all the way up to Bradford and I used to buy quantity Curry's and take them home to freeze them for eating later. Everything was right . The smells , the atomosphere , the people. Although im'e now in my late 50's I still remember it well. Perhaps it should be a treat some day soon , to go back and take my wife for a meal. If it's still as good we will be on to a winner..
