A review of Mother Hubbards Fish & Chip Restaurant by Anonymous written on Monday 13th of August 2012
Went to Mother Hubbards 12/08/12 with my Family and it was awfull,The food was served in carboard trays with plastic Knives and forks which were not strong enough to cut the Fish! My Mum ordered chips and peas and the peas were poured over the top of the chips and it looked awful, the chips were greasy, soggy, and luke warm and the peas were sweet and not nice at all. The rest of us had Fish and Chips, our chips were the same the fish was average. We threw most of it away and it cost over £18! This was not anywhere near Mother Hubbards Quality which was always lovely and hot, fresh, and served on Polystyrene plates. They should not be allowed to call this takeaway Mother Hubbards, in there dreams I think! We all agreed that the Teacakes were good value as they were quite big, and the serviettes were a good size!.
