"Nursery, reptilian teacher"

Hi about 1963, after dinner we used to sleep on some cots as we were about 3 or 4 years old . I could never sleep and one day me and a couple of others were sat quietly with a lady teacher who was telling us a story and all of a sudden she winked and caused her eye to go reptilian ,like a slit , then she smiled . we asked her to do it again and she did just once but not again .

Does anyone remember this .
