I have trained at Thornton on and off for a while and have always found the facility to be excellently maintained. There are 2 gym training areas so you're never short of space or equipment. The staff are supportive and friendly and not overbearing or 'in your face' trying to sell you classes or other offers. If they're not helping they're wiping down the equipment or vacuuming the areas - which means..yep very clean and thats reassuring! They also motivate and encourage you whilst you train and its no bother if you need to ask them something or improve a technique, they drop what they're doing and come over and show you. Ask as many times as you like! :)

I dont get to the centre intime for the classes and I am happy with the gym. From what i have seen and heard from other users the classes are run on time and have a good turnout. Areas for classes are in a separate zone so your training is not disturbed.

There changing rooms are clean with plenty of lockers. Ladies you are gonna love it cos they are wonderfully lit up with stools big mirrors and hairdryers!

Writing this so I'm gonna be honest. Showers could do with a good clean around the edges - thats the only thing that puts me off.

Secondly there is only one toilet in the changing room the other is in the reception area which isnt very nice :( i wish they had built 2 loos in the changing areas. (maybe a possibility??)Would also be nice if they ran some abs and other classes on a weekend; they did used to but stopped:( I really wish they would run classes i've heard a lot of people say it would be beneficial.......
