The care by the doctors has improved - which is a great thing!
An appointment should have been made for me in 6 weeks from my last visit with the GP and on the 7 week still no contact from the administration. When I called to enquire about when this appointment was made for me, I was told that the phone system was malfunctioning (that was last week) and that they were unable to make an appointment until the message was "active". Whatever that means. The doctor requested the appointment for me 7 weeks ago.
On a good day, it is extremely difficult to book in any appointments (doctors, nurses, bloods, etc.) because of the under funding and under resourcing (not entirely the fault of this practice).
However, when the doctors states that an appointment will be made for you, you hope that this is the case without chasing. Unfortunately, it is not.
This process needs looking at again as it is not working as efficiently as it should. Lesson learned - book your own appointments..
