We were all christened in little lane church. In the 1950s it was a thriving Christian community. My father went there from being a small boy. I always think of him when I go past it. There was a staue in the grounds of a first world war soldier with a bowed head. It's not there now. I wonder where it ended up? Everything changes doesn't it..
