A review of Bradford Synagogue by Alan Harris written on Friday 24th of July 2009
The synagogue opened in 1881 and is the oldest surviving synagogue in Yorkshire with an awe inspiring design ...says Nigel Grizzard Historian & Educator.
Now with a diminishing community and hence membership this grade II listed building is in danger of closing as a functioning synagogue.
A small group og younger members are at the forefront of mounting a rescue and look to non affiliated Jewish folk to take up membership and others who wish to become friends.
Can you help?.
