A review of St Lukes Hospital by BARBARA YUNUS written on Tuesday 11th of August 2009
I WAS IN ST. LUKES HOSPIAL IN MARCH 2009 TO APRIL 2009 IN WARD F6 REHABILITATION UNIT. AFTER HAVING A STROKE.INITIALLY I HAD TO BE HOISTED OUT OF BED AND WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR. I WANT TO OFFER MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL STAFF ON WARD F6,THE ,PHYSIOTHERAPISTS,OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS INCLUDING THE OUTREACH TEAM AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST DR.PATTERSON WHO WERE SO POSITIVE AND GAVE ME THE ENCOURAGEMENT WHICH I NEEDED.WHERE WOULD I BE WITHOUT THE REHABILITATION UNIT STAFF.STILL IN MY WHEELCHAIR BUT NOW THROUGH THEIR SUPPORT I AM NOW ABLE TO WALK WITH MY QUAD STICK,CAN GO UPSTAIRS AND DO SOME OF THE THINGS I DID PRIOR TO MY STROKE
I WOULD JUST LIKE FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW WONDERFUL THESE PEOPLE ARE. THANK YOU.
