"Turning Full Circle"

I have been a Sainsbsury customer for many years but decided for a change this week we would shop at Morrisons, Wilnecote. What an eye opener. It was like walking into Aladdin's cave, particlarly the green-grocery department.it was bright, clean and fresh and the food looked wonderful. In fact the whole store was

amazing.

Why I say Turning Full Circle is that although having lived in the Midlnds for more than 40 years I am Brdford born and bred and shortly after the war my mother used to send me to Kirkgate to queue for tinned food from Mrs. Morrison. I remember her well.

She was quite a large lady, had her sleeves rolled up

and held up with elasticated cuffs. It is amazing the small things one remmbers from the past when one gets old but not what one did yesterday!!

Over the years when I have seen the Morrisons trucks up and down the motorways I have thought how well they have done from such a small beginnings and in a strange way I feel a part of it.

I feel I have come home
