A review of Seabrook Crisps Ltd by Michael S Elton written on Monday 24th of May 2010
As an employee of the Wright Mchinery Co Ltd., I was responsible for laying out the Salvo Crisp line in the original Seabrook Factory at Allerton. That was in 1973 and the Salvo replaced two old cookers that had been in place since the start of the business.
I later had much to do with layout of the Salvo Cooker installation and designed the overhead Aseeco distribution system in the, then, new factory.
The probable reason why Seabrooks Crisps are not so popular in the South is the limited number of outlets selling few of the flavour options. But I guess, coming from where they do - the incumbent management know their business best.
I wish the business continuing prosperity in the future. .
